We are pushing the envelope of NGS bioinformatics
Join us on our journey of making sense of vast amounts of genomic data – make your mark on the transition towards a world of precision medicine
We are developers
We understand scalable and efficient databases and implement responsive user interfaces. And we deploy them globally.
We are bioinformaticians
We see through the sequencing data like Neo in Matrix to build workflows to find the right needle in the haystack.
We are relationship builders
Solving complex problems together with our customers does not happen overnight. We build lasting relationships.
We are quality experts
Quality of clinical data is of utmost importance. This is reflected in everything we do, from quality systems to customer communications.
Meet your future colleagues
Priyanka MajumdarQuality Engineer
Hi! I am Priyanka and I make sure that everyone behaves at Euformatics. I mean, according to ISO 13485 and ISO 27001 quality standards and other regulatory requirements.
Priyanka studied masters in computer application from West Bengal university of technology from Kolkata, India. She learnt German language from Goethe Institut, Kolkata and started her professional journey as a German Language associate with Amazon India. She then moved to the quality assurance (QA) domain within Amazon and worked as a QA Subject matter expert for about 3 years. She moved to Finland at the end of September’22 to start a new career at Euformatics where her interest in QMS inspires and motivates her to work as Quality Engineer.
Priyanka’s main task is performing software testing for new releases. In addition, She’ll participate in client projects as a quality representative.
Puru ThapaSoftware Developer
Hi, I’m Puru! I help design and build new features for our world-leading NGS software on a daily basis (and still have time for a game of pingpong). Do you relish the challenge of working to build software for leading genetics labs around the world?
Rafael Vicentini PopinApplication Scientist
Hi! If you are setting up a clinical diagnostics lab using NGS technologies I’m there for you. Setting up and validating pipelines, ensuring your patient samples are analyzed with high quality data reliably. Or if you want to know what it’s like to work at Euformatics, feel free to reach out!
Rafael Vicentini Popin
Rafael Vicentini Popin was born and raised in Brazil, but has Italian roots. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Engineering with an emphasis in plant pathology and holds a Master of Science degree focusing on microbial genetics from the University of São Paulo. He later moved to Finland for a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Biotechnology at the University of Helsinki, where expanded his knowledge of several different omics.
For him, writing scientific papers and a doctoral thesis was easy compared to learning Finnish! As a result most of his free time is now divided between games, exercising, and studying languages.
It’s a great time to join Euformatics
An industry facing a tipping point
Clinical use of genomic data is becoming mainstream. Physicians want to understand the individual factors for each patient better and genetic testing gives the most detailed view.
