Software Survey
We are looking for researchers creating software and having ideas about commercialising their research. It can be a software (like ClustalW, BLAST or a PDB viewer, NG sequencing pipeline, etc.) with or without graphical interface or just a bunch of half complete scripts. This is for you if you wish to start a company based on your research in the future or want to earn a bit extra on the side of your research.
We would like to learn more about your software and ideas. We may be able to find potential users for your software, or we can find a way to add missing pieces (graphical user interface, manuals, support, etc.) to make the software commercially viable.
What this means in practice? We would search for customers for the software, deploy it, implement integrations, train the users, provide technical support, etc. The IPR owner of the software would get license fees and we could provide the inventors consulting opportunities with the details of the software. The inventors would get valuable business contacts.
