Euformatics joins EU-FP7 supported cellular characterisation technology development team
The PM-CELL partners work on the development of a rapid cellular characterisation technology for use in the bio-pharmaceutical industry. The PM-CELL project is partially financed through the EU FP7 Capacities program. Other industrial and SME partners are Technopath (Ireland), Dorte Egelund (Denmark), IUL Instruments (Germany); the University of Sheffield and the Veterinary Laboratory Agency (UK), The Institute of Technology Tralee (coordinator) and the University of Limerick (Ireland).
Euformatics Oy has joined the consortium to drive the development of a computerised software end-user interface for the PM-CELL plate which will permit a user-friendly format for comparative analysis of cell line responses and compatibility with automation. Through this collaboration, Euformatics Oy will widen its palette of software tools for data analysis and knowledge extraction and thereby significantly strengthen its position as software provider for measurement technologies in life science R&D.
